Christopher Joyce

Functional Medicine Health Coach

My life is characterized by a desire for exploration, growth, and to help others thrive. Whether it is learning new concepts, sports, activities, art, relationships, scenery, ideas, the simple yet profound fact of being alive ignites my passion to continuously discover more about life.

I have worked as a metal fabricator, IT supervisor, filmmaker, Quality Assurance/Safety Observer & Collateral Duty Inspector - Ordnance Technician in the United States Marine Corps, high school lacrosse coach, cook, and logo animator. Jack of all Trades, Bohemian, Renaissance Man, it all fits.

I immerse myself in the world of DIY such as fermenting kombucha, hunting, fishing, vanlife, to making my own toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, sunscreen, and anything else that I find beneficial doing myself.

I love to play ice hockey, lacrosse, and participate in Tough Mudder events. I dabble in yoga and bootcamp. I am a health coach, filmmaker, an outdoorsman, and backpacker. I enjoy traveling and will someday hike the Pacific Coast Trail, Appalachian Trail, and the Continental Divide.

I embrace the good while welcoming the bad. I oscillate from comfort to effort, not seeking middle ground but balance. Learning and sharing how to optimize living is my fervor. I relish meeting people and hearing their story.

Currently in Sacramento, California.
